Sam Brittain Hits Back with new album Signal Lights

On a cold wintery may evening, the unmistakable vocal stylings of Sam Brittain floods into my headphones and I know that my life will never be the same. Released on the third of June, Signal Lights is a record that pushes on the elements and subjects raised in the first single ‘Stab In The Dark’. From the delicate acoustic opening, this track showcases all the elements of a hit.

Building into a frenzied single that tugs at the heartstrings, I am very excited to see where the new album will delve to sonically. From the simple instrumentation and production on his 2012 debut Our Shining Skin, it’s impressive to see how Brittain has really knuckled down to produce his own unique sound that leaves you wanting more and your hair standing on end.

If you need to justify this for yourself be sure to check out the new single below and look out for the feature on The Night Vibe upon the release of the album in the very near future. Having opened for the likes of Matt Corby and Passenger, Brittain is set to break all pre conceived ideas about his music with his most ambitious and energetic release yet.
