Bob Evans

Bob Evans has been making music as a side project to his main band Jebediah for the past 15 years. Since Surburban Kid, there has been plenty of hits such as ‘Don’t You Think It’s Time’, ‘Nowhere Without You’ and ‘Sadness and Whiskey’ just to name a few.

This week, Evans has announced that he is releasing Full Circle which will drop on October 5. The approach to this release, isn’t like your normal Best Of. The premise of the album is to introduce people to Evans music, even if they haven’t heard of him before.

I didn’t want to just bundle the singles together or present the songs in the order they were released. Some singles didn’t make the cut, in favour of album tracks that have grown legs of their own and found some kind of special place of significance without ever necessarily being on the radio or anything. Wintersong, for example, off my third album, was never on the radio or well known but I just love it so much I wanted it on there. ”

Throughout each of Evans album releases, there is a different sound achieved and this is both in part to recording location as well as not wanting to continually release the same thing (or so I imagine)

To celebrate the release of ‘Full Circle’, Evans is headed out on tour. You can see the dates below and be sure to check out the further links for all your ticketing needs. Ahead of October, Evans has dropped a video for ‘Drowning’ the new single.
